Satan in the Public Square

Part II

Last month we considered the frightening, mindless embrace of varying degrees of occult activity and belief by the masses. Inhaling the materialistic air of institutionalised atheism and deprived of a healthy, robust Catholic Church to challenge the amoral status quo, they have substituted spiritism for spirituality and paved the way for the dedicated, elite few to gradually engineer a massive, albeit unspoken shift in allegiance from Christ to Satan. We will now consider the occult influence within and around this rarefied circle of global power-mongers who ultimately shape world affairs.

The Power Elite

Firstly, however, let us set this higher circle in societal context. We might take any country but the America scene is both pivotal and representative. In the opening paragraphs of his classic treatise The Power Elite [Oxford University Press, 1956] sociologist C. Wright Mills explains:

As the means of information and of power are centralized, some men come to occupy positions in American society from which they can look down upon, so to speak, and by their decisions mightily affect, the everyday worlds of ordinary men and women. They are not made by their jobs; they set up and break down jobs for thousands of others; they are not confined by simple family responsibilities; they can escape. They may live in many hotels and houses, but they are bound by no one community. They need not merely 'meet the demands of the day and hour'; in some part, they create these demands, and cause others to meet them. Whether or not they profess their power, their technical and political experience of it far transcends that of the underlying population…

The power elite is composed of men whose positions enable them to transcend the ordinary environments of ordinary men and women; they are in positions to make decisions having major consequences. Whether they do or do not make such decisions is less important than the fact that they do occupy such pivotal positions: their failure to act, their failure to make decisions, is in itself an act that is often of greater consequence than the decisions they do make. For they are in command of the major hierarchies and organisations of modern society. They rule the big corporations. They run the machinery of the state and claim its prerogatives. They direct the military establishment. They occupy the strategic command posts of the social structure, in which are now centred the effective means of the power and the wealth and the celebrity which they enjoy.

The power elite are not solitary rulers. Advisers and consultants, spokesmen and opinion-makers are often the captains of their higher thought and decision. Immediately below the elite are the professional politicians of the middle levels of power, in the Congress and in the pressure groups, as well as the new and old upper classes of town and city and region. Mingling with them, in curious ways which we shall explore, are those professional celebrities who live by being continually displayed but are never, so long as they remain celebrities, displayed enough. If such celebrities are not at the head of any dominating hierarchy, they do often have the power to distract the attention of the public or afford sensations to the masses, or, more directly, to gain the ear of those who do occupy positions of direct power. More or less unattached, as critics of morality and technicians of power, as spokesman of God and creators of mass sensibility, such celebrities and consultants are part of the immediate scene in which the drama of the elite is enacted. But that drama itself is centred in the command posts of the major institutional hierarchies....

Satanic Labyrinth

Mills' book goes on to deal with power, social structure, and the wealthy, privileged American minority who make up the dynamic forces of the US political, economic, and military domains. He explains how these three great powers are linked together by mutual interests: "The decisions of a handful of corporations bear upon military and political as well as upon economic developments around the world. The decisions of the military establishment rest upon and grievously affect political life as well as the very level of economic activity."

One commentator has interpreted this to mean very simply that "… big business has joined with the big politicians and the generals and admirals to maintain a 'permanent war economy' for the purpose of averting an otherwise inevitable economic depression."

More generally, Mills is saying that this sort of power is exercised throughout the world by an effective ruling class. As a sociologist he believes that "The rise of the elite… was not and could not have been caused by a plot...". Yet even he goes on to say, in rather contradictory fashion, that there have been organized efforts along the way to further personal and corporate agendas: "There is, however, little doubt that the American power elite - which contains, we are told, some of the 'greatest organizers in the world' - has also planned and has plotted."

In fact, Carroll Quigley, Professor of International Relations at Georgetown University, has demonstrated conclusively that the US Council on Foreign Relations and other groups like those we shall consider, are "semi-secret" policy-making bodies, planning and plotting under the control of the power elite.

In his monumental modern history Tragedy and Hope [1966], which traces the power elite based on a two year study of the internal documents of one of the power centres, Quigley confirms that the far reaching aim of the masters of financial capitalism is nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole.

This should be of particular and pressing interest to the British populace, since Prime Minister Tony Blair is a minion of the globalists: a tool committed to destroying the national currency and British national sovereignty, to bring the British people under the dominance of the un-elected, unaccountable European Union whether they like it or not. In return for his co-operation it is widely held that Blair has been promised a prominent role, probably the EU presidency, under a new expanded, empowered EU. Indeed, national security lawyer and analyst Michael Shrimpton is publicly suggesting that the geo-political desperation of EU powers like France to keep the pro-EU/euro Blair in office was directly tied to the Kelly affair.(1)

There are so many disparate yet interrelated, interconnecting currents and streams in this complex design of elite power-brokers and fellow travellers that it is difficult to identify with absolute certainty one controlling force or figure overseeing "Satan's pervasive and dark action" in the world today, as the Holy Father put it. Though there is one outstanding suspect, comprising both visible and invisible elements, which will become readily apparent in what follows and to which we shall finally return.

In the meantime, however, major players and personalities entrenched within or skirting around Satan's labyrinth can be singled out. Countless books and internet sites provide startling factual information about the global banking houses, the American Council on Foreign Relations, the international Bilderbergers, David Rockefeller's multinational Trilateral Commission, the Club of Rome, The Hierarchy promoted by the Lucis Trust and other movements, which, through their incestuous ties and overlapping memberships, effectively control public policy in the broadest sense of the term. A few representative pieces in the jigsaw, past and present, will suffice to prove the extent of that control and the pervasive influence of occultism on the emerging, diabolic pattern.

Lucis Trust and Madame Blavatsky

The Lucis (formerly Lucifer) Trust has thousands of prestigious followers and promotes belief in the Hierarchy, supposedly wise men (also called Ascended Masters, Masters of Wisdom and The Elder Brothers) who have evolved through successive cycles of reincarnation to reach a state of divinity. It has offices in New York, London and Geneva. One US commentator writes:

Some of the most important men in the world belong to that organization. Gary Kah lists their names in his book, The Demonic Roots of Globalism. The fact that most people have never heard of the Lucis Trust or the Hierarchy reflects the degree of control that exists today over what the American people think. Robert Muller belongs to the Lucis Trust and supports its objectives. He was Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations for many years, and his World Core Curriculum is currently being used in schools throughout the world to introduce students to occult thought. [Muller was also on the Advisory Board of the Temple of Understanding, set up in 1960 to syncretise the world's religions. And in 1968 he directed Economic and Social Council Resolution 1296 that established "Consultative Status" for NGOs (non-government organisations), the Lucis Trust being among the first NGOs accredited]. Alice Bailey organized the Lucis Trust in 1923 to publish and distribute her books, which were channeled to her by Djwhal Khul, her spirit guide. Her books, along with Madame Blavatsky's writings, are the foundation of New Age thought.

Helena Petrovna Blavatsky's impact on Western culture has been immense. The origin of the New Age movement, environmentalism, Christian apostasy and modern-day occultism can be traced back to her through Theosophy.

Blavatsky organised the Theosophical Society in 1875 and became a Mason. Later, the three volumes of her book The Secret Doctrine [1888] were channelled to her by an Indian spiritual master. Adolph Hitler, Margaret Sanger, William Stead, Thomas Edison, Conan Doyle and many others read her books avidly and embraced her diabolic philosophy. Ostensibly, The Secret Doctrine synthesized Christian, Jewish and Islamic mysticism with the Eastern teachings of Hinduism, Taoism and Buddhism, showing their common roots and comparing their sacred texts. In fact, it espouses pure evil. Blavatsky writes in volume two:

In this case it is but natural to view Satan, the Serpent of Genesis, as the real creator and benefactor, the Father of Spiritual mankind. For it is he who was the "Harbinger of Light," bright radiant Lucifer, who opened the eyes of the automaton created by Jehovah, as alleged; and he who was the first to whisper: "in the day ye eat thereof ye shall be as Elohim, knowing good and evil"—can only be regarded in the light of a Saviour…And now it stands proven that Satan, or the Red Fiery Dragon, the "Lord of Phosphorus" and Lucifer, or "Light Bearer," is in us: it is our Mind—our tempter and Redeemer, our intelligent liberator and Saviour from pure animalism. Without this principle, we would be surely no better than animals.

Adolph Hitler is said to have read this book religiously. (Interestingly, as revealed by co-authors McLaughlin and Davidson in Spiritual Politics, Winston Churchill, a Mason and a Druid, "reportedly insisted that the black magic of the Nazi party not be revealed to the general public after the war, and the Allied prosecution and judges at Nuremberg consciously ignored the occult aspects of the Nazis' tremendous power and cruelty" [see "The Occult in Hitler and Nazi Germany", CO, March 2004]).

Margaret Sanger, the Father of Feminism, was a Theosophist and her eugenic policies and contraceptive programs were surely rooted in her occult beliefs. The man who convinced President Roosevelt that the occult emblem on the back of the Great Seal of the United States should be printed on the back of the dollar bill, Henry Wallace, was also a Theosophist. He later ran for president with the support of the Communist Party. And notably:

Thomas Edison was one of Madame Blavatsky's most famous disciples. By following her teachings, he learned to meditate, and during his periods of contemplation, he accessed the occult power she promoted. That was the source of his genius and the force behind his amazing career. Because of his dedication to Madame Blavatsky's teaching, he changed the world in which we live.

The famous philanthropists Andrew Carnegie and Cecil Rhodes, who were friends, financed the Lucis Trust and worked tirelessly to establish a world government.

Rhodes was a Mason who, in 1891, created The Society of the Elect and the Association of Helpers, also known as the "Secret Society", to unify the world. He wrote in his Confession of Faith, "The idea gleaming and dancing before one's eyes like a will-o-the-wisp at last frames itself into a plan. Why should we not form a secret society with but one object…".

Most of those who joined him were either Freemasons, spiritualists, Theosophists, or members of the Society for Psychical Research. Lord Milner, a prominent unelected government official who inherited control of Rhodes' Trust and his secret society, was a 33^rd Degree Mason, William T. Stead was a spiritualist and a Theosophist, while Arthur Balfour was a spiritualist, a Mason and a member of the Society for Psychical Research.

Carnegie was a spiritualist whose tax exempt foundations were foremost among those investigated in the 1950s by the US Congressional Reece Committee, which was set up by the Senate to investigate why the US State Department placed an arms embargo on the Nationalist Chinese and brought Chairman Mao to power. The foundations were found guilty of financing communist front organisations and actively promoting communism and socialism. Moreover, the Reece Committee discovered that the tax-exempt foundations were working closely with the Rhodes Trust, and that Rhodes Scholars were being assigned to strategic positions in the US government to the advantage of communists and disadvantage of American interests.

Unifying Force

This apparently contradictory socio-political convergence is only baffling if one ignores its ultimate source. Prosaic commercial motives are a factor, but as one writer observed in explaining how communism was created by capitalists:

If you study the various groups and organizations that work behind the scenes, you will soon discover that communists and capitalists have always worked together because they are motivated by the same spiritual force, and they seek the same goal. In his three-volume set, Western Technology and Soviet Economic Development, Anthony Sutton documented the fact that Russian communism has been financed by Western banks and Western corporations since its inception. In his book, Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution, he documented the fact that Rockefeller and Morgan banks provided the Bolsheviks with loans, while American industry provided them with the plants and the technology they needed. Westinghouse, Henry Ford, Averill Harriman, Armand Hammer, Exxon and other American firms built the infrastructure that allowed the Soviet Union to survive.

One can only speculate and best guess as to the billionaire Masonic occultists deftly guiding this operation from the heights. But anyone who has read Richard Wurmbrand's booklet on Marx's manic hatred of Christianity and the occult roots of Marxism will appreciate that there has never been a more demonically inspired project than that which financed and sustained atheistic Communism:

Reverend Richard Wurmbrand was living in Romania when the communists took over that country. He was arrested, imprisoned, and tortured for fourteen years to force him to renounce his faith. Many of the ministers who were imprisoned with him recanted their beliefs under torture, and they died broken men. When Reverend Wurmbrand was finally released, he set out to discover why his tormentors were intent on destroying his faith. When he read the early writings of Karl Marx, he discovered that Marx wasn't an atheist; he was a Satanist. Karl Marx didn't believe in communism, but he embraced it in an effort to destroy Christian civilization.

This diabolic spirit survives among the same Western cabals who funded Marx's (and also Hitler's) vision. Among much else, and despite the best efforts of the powers to shut the inquiry down, Congressman Reece and his diligent investigators also discovered that the Rockefeller Foundation, the Carnegie Educational Foundation and the Ford Foundation (Henry Ford was a spiritualist, a 33^rd Degree Mason and especially prominent in supporting the Nazis) had used their grant-making power to take over American education and force colleges and universities to abandon their religious beliefs and moral standards. While, additionally, the Rockefeller Foundation was found to have financed the bogus and criminally contrived sexuality report by Alfred Kinsey (a disciple of satanist Aleister Crowley) and Kinsey's effort to undermine the moral standards of America.

Power Elite in Action

In this light, the attitude of the power elite is even more revealing. David Rockefeller, for one, effectively spat upon the graves of the tens of millions of Chinese slaughtered in the Communist Revolution, by lauding it fulsomely and concluding that "The social experiment in China under Chairman Mao's leadership is one of the most important and successful in history."

In 1973, he financed the formation of the Trilateral Commission, whose members control commerce and banking in the United States, Europe and Asia (and whose logo, rather spookily, consists of three intertwined sixes i.e. 666). Most participants are also among the approximately 1,000 members of the Council on Foreign Relations [CFR], which Rockefeller chaired for over fifteen years and to which almost everyone of any importance in the United States belongs, including: six of the last nine Presidents, every Secretary of State bar one since 1944, Senators, Congressman, heads of federal agencies, those who determine appointments to just about every important US government post, the heads of almost every industrial empire in America, the international bankers as well as media chiefs and journalists, academics, lawyers, et. al.

The CFR was instrumental in creating the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, so it comes as no surprise to find that its most powerful members, according to Admiral Chester Ward, a former member of 16 years, "want to bring about the surrender of the sovereignty and the national independence of the United States."

There is simply no doubt about it. Rockefeller openly states that today "the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practised in past centuries."

Which comment sums up the CFR in particular and the motivating force of the higher circle in all its various guises generally.

Writing in 1979, US Senator Barry Goldwater warned that such elitist sentiments are a direct threat to human liberty. He first relates the sheer arrogance with which this unelected, unaccountable body walked in and assumed power:

In September 1939, two members of the Council on Foreign Relations visited the State Department to offer the Council's services. They proposed to do research and make recommendations for the department without formal assignment or responsibility, particularly in four areas - security armaments, economic and financial problems, political problems, and territorial problems. The Rockefeller Foundation agreed to finance the operation of this plan.

From that day forward, the Council on Foreign Relations has placed its members in policy-making positions with the State Department and other federal agencies… Almost without exception, its members are united by a congeniality of birth, economic status and educational background… It remains a non-governmental private grouping of specialists in foreign affairs.

The percipient Goldwater went on to make vital points about the cold, rootless and ruthless economic rationalism that drives the CFR and its chilling transnationalist mindset. It bears the seductive, heartless, faceless stamp of the diabolic:

Many of the policies advocated by the Council have been damaging to the cause of freedom and particularly to the United States. But this is not because the members are communists or communist sympathizers. This explanation of our foreign policy reversals is too pat, too simplistic.

I believe that the Council on Foreign Relations and its ancillary elitist groups are indifferent to communism. They have no ideological anchors. In their pursuit of a new world order, they are prepared to deal without prejudice with a communist state, a socialist state, a democratic state, a monarchy, an oligarchy - its all the same to them.

Their goal is to impose a benign stability on the quarreling family of nations through merger and consolidation. They see the elimination of national boundaries, the suppression of racial and ethnic loyalties, as the most expeditious avenue to world peace. They believe economic competition is the root cause of international tension.

Perhaps if the Council's vision of the future were realized, it would reduce wars, lessen poverty and bring about a more efficient utilization of the world's resources. To my mind, this would inevitably be accompanied by a loss in personal freedom of choice and re-establishment of the restraints that provoked the American revolution.

When we change presidents, it is understood to mean that the voters are ordering a change in national policy. Since 1945, three different Republicans have occupied the White House for 16 years, and four Democrats have held this most powerful post for 17 years. With the exception of the first seven years of the Eisenhower administration, there has been no appreciable change in foreign or domestic policy direction.

There has been a great turnover in personnel, but no change in policy. Example: during the Nixon years, Henry Kissinger, a Council member and Nelson Rockefeller protege, was in charge of foreign policy; when Jimmy Carter was elected, Kissinger was replaced by Zbigniew Brzezinski, a Council member and David Rockefeller protege.

Starting in the '30s and continuing through World War II, our official attitude toward the Far East reflected the thinking of the Institute of Pacific Relations. Members of the Institute were placed in important teaching positions. They dominated the Asian affairs section of the State Department. Their publications were standard reading material for the armed forces, in most American colleges, and were used in 1,300 public school systems.

The Institute of Pacific Relations was behind the decision to cut off aid to Chiang Kai-Shek unless he embraced the communists, and the Council on Foreign Relations is the parent organization of the Institute of Pacific Relations.

Sociopathic Secrecy and Control

It is a constant source of wonderment and testimony to the power and reach of these groups that although their occult beliefs and affiliations and shocking goals are often on public record, they are so little publicised. The ultra-secretive and hugely influential Bilderbergers, an international version of the CFR which sets local and universal agendas in unashamed pursuit of globalism and one world government, are still rarely mentioned in the media, and if so only in cursory fashion.

Each year 80-100 Bilderberg participants discuss the state of the world and its future directions. They are invited to exclusive locations by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands in consultation with an informal international steering committee compromising the likes of Henry Kissinger, Conrad Black, Kenneth Clarke, George David (Chairman of Coca Cola), J. Martin Taylor (Chairman of the W.H. Smith Group), et. al. An 'inner circle' Advisory Group includes Italy's Giovanni Agnelli and the omnipresent David Rockefeller.

For many years after their establishment in 1954 by Prince Bernhard, once an active card-carrying member of Hitler's elite SS, these Bilderberg meetings went completely unremarked in the world's press. An astonishing fact considering that the participants are the wealthiest and most powerful men on earth - an extraordinary cartel of the world's richest bankers, media barons, multinational bosses, economists and politicians - unelected and unaccountable, yet gathering to decide the how, when, where and why of planetary socio-political and economic directions.

Perhaps the anonymity is not so astonishing after all, however, since Bilderberg participants control most of the major media outlets in the United States and Europe. In fact, the relative anonymity of Bilderberg meetings are living proof of how mainstream media news reporting is manipulated to suit the purposes of the media giants and their corporate owners: how they create and kill news in equal measure, which awesome power only increases as the media is consolidated into fewer and fewer hands.

Rockefeller said it himself. "We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years," he proclaimed. "It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years.

Obviously, the free flow of information on the internet, through independent periodicals like Christian Order and occasional best-selling exposes on the media's narrow-minded liberalism (like Bernard Goldberg's sensational "Bias" [2001]) are testimony to the fact that we are not wholly controlled by the power elite. Yet make no mistake, in the mainstream media and publishing world, writers who step out of line by reporting on the likes of the Bilderbergers and their disquieting secrecy risk having their work suppressed.

This is precisely what happened to the distinguished independent journalist C. Gordon Tether. He so offended the 'higher circles' that his famous Lombard column in the Financial Times was discontinued. In one article, Tether wrote quite soberly that many hold "the idea that Bilderbergism is the arm of a movement whose main aim is to create - 'a world fit for multinationals to live in' - which may indeed even see itself as spear-heading the establishment of World Government by such interests," and stated that "Bilderbergism is an unseen force of great significance in world affairs that we ought to know a lot more about."

This sort of open, considered analysis miffed his superiors, and on 20 July 1976 Tether's column, once a Guinness Book of Records entry as the longest running feature in the British press, was taken away from him and handed over to a team of writers. In the lead up to this action, the Financial Times totally censored nearly 50 Lombard columns. The suppressed articles were later published elsewhere.

Yet although telling in itself, the Bilderbergers' sociopathic desire for secrecy and anonymity is merely indicative of a far more subtle and diabolic modus operandi.

Grooming potential political big-wigs like Bill Clinton (1991) or Tony Blair (1993) and stitching up key posts such as NATO Secretary General (which the Bilderbergers have controlled since 1971) they artfully create, as one observer explained, "an artificial 'consensus' in an attempt to spellbind visiting politicians and other men of influence. Blair has fallen for this hook line and sinker. It's about reinforcing - often to the very people who are on the edge of condemning Globalisation - the illusion that Globalisation is 'good', 'popular' and that it's inevitable."

As this secular commentator puts it, the Bilderbergers pursue their agenda in an elite bubble, safeguarded from the prying, critical eyes of the hoi polloi, "sealed off from reality and the devastating implications on the ground of the black-science economic solutions on the table." The dark religious overtones are evident:

Will Hutton, deputy Editor of The Observer newspaper in London and left-leaning Economist, described private clubs of the elite as masterminded by 'The High Priests of Globalisation'. The ecclesiastical allusion is not accidental. The Bilderberg high-priests are a force against good, out to wipe morality from the earth. For the organisers, Bilderberg Conferences are an annual ideological assault by the world's most power-hungry people. Not content with owning unimaginable amounts of money and property they want to use that wealth to acquire even more power for themselves. Power is the most dangerous and addictive drugs known to man. Will the craving be satisfied when a handful of men own and control everything on earth?

Ultimately, this insatiable "craving" for wealth and power - embodied in the likes of international banker David Rockefeller whose disregard for human life we have glimpsed above - is all about centralisation. "It is in the pecuniary interests of the international bankers to centralise political power, and this centralisation can best be achieve within a collectivist society, such as socialist Russia, national socialist Germany, or a Fabian socialist United States."

Indeed, the same names and international banks and corporations recur again and again in studies of major political upheavals, wars and revolutions. Especially Rockefeller's Chase bank along with J.P. Morgan and Guaranty Trust. Anthony Sutton's exhaustive study of Wall Street found that this particular group of international bankers "backed the Bolshevik Revolution and subsequently profited from the establishment of a Soviet Russia. This group backed Roosevelt and profited from New Deal socialism. This group also backed Hitler and certainly profited from German armament in the 1930s."

Not only Catholics discern a sulphurous odour here. Faced with the creeping totalitarianism of these apparently immortal, dehumanising profit machines, secular analysts sense it too. As one writes:

"Democracy' has been imposed upon one autonomous regime after another as power is centralised by this International Oligarchy as communities and cultures are decimated. We believe that this evil power is ultimately Satanic.... These individuals seem oddly switched off from the suffering they are clearly causing. Surely only pernicious people would want to control the ideology of the world's mainstream press, and undermine natural political discourse. Public opinion and democratic institutions are a threat when you want to own the world. The perverse objective of the Bilderberg Steering Group is to dress totalitarian ideology up to appear rational and push it out, unattributable, for mass consumption under Chatham House rules. Meanwhile, outside the Bilder-bubble, 'god-is-money' globalisation is the new religion. The greedy are given a pat on the back as they plunder both the earth and do their best to destroy the human spirit."

In a 1998 response to a correspondent concerned about the Bilderbergers' influence, English Tory MP Christopher Gill concurred, stating: "I do not for one moment discount the possibility of there being some very powerful forces at work and that their intention is to undermine and destroy the nation state… [however] Given the reluctance of elected politicians to acknowledge the nature of the very real threat to our democracy it seems inconceivable that they will openly attack these groups and the thought that they might actually proscribe them is just too fanciful for words. The fact that their intentions may be treasonable is hardly the point if national governments see nothing wrong in their activities."

Bohemian Grove

This politico-media complicity in subverting the democratic process by covering-up activities of secretive groups with occult underpinnings is exemplified in the case of America's Bohemian Grove.

The US presidential race has currently focused public attention on Yale University's Order of the Skull and Bones, the secret society to which both Democratic front-runner John Kerry and Republican President George Bush belong and about which neither is willing to discuss. This publicity is only right and proper. In a country of nearly 300 million people it is staggering that an exclusive 172-year-old club with only 800 living members and only 15 new members a year could provide the two presidential candidates. Two candidates, moreover, who were bonded together in this super-elite university enclave during bizarre initiation rituals (like a mock throat-slitting ritual sacrifice) in occult surroundings (including one room adorned with nothing but Nazi paraphernalia) where they were sworn to absolute and binding secrecy (through the death mantra: "The Hangman Equals Death! The Devil Equals Death! Death Equals Death!").

The sole purpose of the Skull and Bones, which has provided two past presidents, the founders of Time Inc. and the C.I.A., as well as several Secretaries of State and National Security Advisors, "is to perpetuate power [and] to maintain and increase this power… to help build the New World organization that is their primary goal." President Bush, who followed his father into the secret society, has already appointed 10 members to his administration, including the head of the Securities and Exchange Commission, to sit alongside numerous other Bonesmen in positions of political prestige and influence.

Public scrutiny of this group is welcome, since there are all sorts of troubling questions about Bonesmen "keeping their actions secret, using power to achieve ulterior ends, and putting the Skull and Bones oath above allegiance to their country."

Just as disturbing but even less mentioned in public discourse, however, is the sinister Bohemian Grove. The media blackout here is perhaps even more comprehensive than the Bilderbergers, yet few places could be more newsworthy. It is a prime example of the intertwining of occult activity, the power elite and public policy.

Each July since 1873, a veritable who's who of the most powerful men in business and government have gathered for secret meetings in Bohemian Grove - an enclosed 2,700 acre property lying within a range of large hills and cliffs in Sonoma County, Northern California - including every Republican president since Calvin Coolidge (1923-29), a smaller number of Democratic presidents, the likes of Henry Kissinger, Colin Powell and David Rockefeller and the CEO's of many Fortune 500 corporations and global financial institutions.

Members of the all-male Bohemian Club don red, black and silver robes and conduct an occult ritual wherein they worship a giant stone owl, sacrificing to it what looks like a human effigy.

Since only a handful of whitewash reports of this activity had appeared in the press over a 50 year period - through the likes of Associated Press, Reuters, the Washington Times and the Sacramento Bee - a peeved radio talk-show host, Alex Jones, determined to infiltrate the heavily guarded proceedings and blow it wide open. He achieved this aim on 15 July 2000, when, disguised as members of the 2,000 strong club and using a hidden digital video camera, he and an assistant became the first ever outsiders to film the shocking ritual. "Thank God I caught the whole thing on videotape because no one would believe me if I hadn't," Jones stated. "I have trouble believing what I witnessed with my own two eyes. It was actually that bizarre."

Occult Ritual

Having recently viewed the footage on the internet (it also aired in England, Ireland and Scotland on Channel Four as Part Three of a four-part special: "The Secret Rulers of the World") I can confirm that it is not just pantomime and big boys having fun and letting off steam, as the members insist. It is disturbing.

Jones found that the 40-50 foot owl with an altar at the base does indeed exist. As do various club houses and log cabin-style mansions that are built into the cliffs with different names for around 95 different clubs. The most elite club, according to press reports is Mandaley, with Henry Kissinger and Paul Volcker, former Federal Reserve Chairman, and other New World Order bosses. The Bushes belong to the Hillbilly Camp, along with many other notables in American industry, banking, media and government.

Avoiding detection within the grounds despite some very close calls throughout the day, Jones relates the build up to the creepy Cremation of Care ritual involving the giant owl:

"By then, the shadows were getting long and it was just a few minutes until dusk. We started to hear bizarre chanting and singing coming from down below us in the gorge. So we traveled back into the gorge. On our way back down, we saw thousands of men chanting and singing drunkenly beneath the giant redwoods.

It was like something out of a fantasy novel. I expected to see a dragon come hopping by any moment. There were huge skulls hanging down from the floodlights, satanic-styled owls with glowing eyes, (a lot of trappings of death) that we could now see in the twilight illuminated by the large floodlights.

… Thousands of the men began to gather on the eastern bank, private servants (as opposed to the Bohemian Grove employees, who all wear red shirts and who weren't allowed to be present for the ritual) began to put out chairs for their elderly employers. The sun had now sunk behind the hill. It was completely dark …. This was spooky stuff. The hair on the back of my neck was beginning to stand up at this point.

Then, out of the woods, all of the sudden came thirty priests in black robes, their faces painted up like death, with a man dressed like the Grim Reaper pulling a wagon with a bound body… The men then began to yell out, "burn him again! He's going to get what he deserves!"

Now, I must digress and say that the reason I was able to see the priest in the black robes, the priest painted-up like death, and the bound body on the back of the wagon, was because they were all carrying torches. The place was pretty illuminated by the torches being carried by the thirty priests in front and the thirty priests behind the wagon.

Probably out of the entire ritual that I witnessed, the most important aspect of the ceremony was what happened first. The wagon went behind these big black sheets hanging out of the trees, down to the ground, obscuring the view, and for about 10 minutes nothing happened.

It was quiet except for the hateful shouts of the old men, who said things like, "Oh yeah! Burn that bastard! Kill him! That's what he deserves!" All we could hear was them whispering and smacking their lips. This went on and on.

….We were all focused at what was going on across the pond. Suddenly the owl was lit up by some flood lights and out ran a hundred priests or so in black, red and green robes. Most of them were in black, some in red and a couple in silver or green robes. Then, out came the high priest, who went through all his incantations about the dead (who is dead at the Grove in the past, may their spirits be conjured and brought back there by the "great owl"). He praised the owl for about twenty minutes and he talked about "goodly Tyre and Babylon." Well, there is only one "great owl" of Babylon and "goodly" Tyre. If you read your Bible, or any historical document of the time, they were burning children in the Babylonian and Caananite kingdoms before the owl-god Moloch.

Suddenly, back on the west bank, there was an old-fashioned river-style boat, with that grim reaper character who had been driving the wagon, and he was poling himself across the water with the bound body up on the bow. He brought the bound body to the high priest who was waiting for it at the foot of the owl, at the bottom of large circular steps on which the owl sits. Then, in very macabre fashion, the two black-clad priests rubbed and caressed the sacrificial body and brought it before the owl. The body begged for its life, over a speaker system. They refused it mercy. They took it up onto the altar. The "great owl" told them to burn the body (which they called "dull care,") which looks like a human wrapped up in black cloth. Right above the altar there was a large stone lamp that was burning that they call the "eternal flame." The high priest took an unlit torch and lit his torch with this flame.

The body again begged for mercy. The high priest then walked down (with some difficulty, because this high priest was so old, he could hardly even walk), and lit the pyre on fire. He began to say that he would read the signs in the remains, a deep occult tradition. This is not the Hollywood devil with red pyjamas – this is the real deal, Babylon mystery religion-style.

The body continued to scream in pain. Suddenly, all of those little metal crosses that we had seen along the bank during the day burst into flame. So, I was there witnessing something right out of the medieval painter Hieronymus Bosch's Visions of Hell: burning metal crosses, priests in red and black robes with the high priest in a silver robe with a red cape, a burning body screaming in pain, a giant stone great-horned owl, world leaders, bankers, media and the head of academia engaged in these activities. It was total insanity.

[…] It is a lot easier to get out of the Grove than it is to get in, because a lot of these world leaders that you read about in the news leave the Grove to go into the small town Monte Rio. They go into the bars for prostitutes that are flown in from around the world to service them.

Media Connivance

A few journalists have also infiltrated Bohemian Grove but most of their stories have been quashed by their own bosses. Dirk Mathison, a bureau chief for "People" magazine, for instance, was prevented from telling his story because the management of Time Warner who own "People" are members of the Bohemian Club!

And yet there is a pressing case for public scrutiny of what happens at Bohemian Grove during these two week "Encampments" because official business is conducted there. Policy speeches are regularly made by members and guests and the club privately boasts that the Manhattan Project, responsible for building the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima, was conceived on its grounds in 1942.

In July 1991, for example, the "People" magazine journalist Mathison "witnessed a speech - "Smart Weapons" - by former Navy Secretary John Lehman, who stated that the Pentagon estimates that 200,000 Iraqis were killed by the US and its allies during the Gulf War. Other featured speakers included Defense Secretaty Richard Cheney on "Major Defense Problems of the 21^st Century," former Health, Education and Welfare Secretary Joseph Califano on "America's Health Revolution – Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Pays," and former Attorney General Elliott Richardson on "Defining the New World Order."

Mathison was eventually recognised by two executives of Time Warner present at the Grove and removed from the premises! The story was later killed, as was a secret recording of a Kissinger speech in 1982 and an article by a "Time" reporter who infiltrated the Grove as a waiter in the same year.

"Time Warner is not the only media corporation with Bohemian connections. The list of Fourth Estate bigwigs who have been members of guests is extensive: Franklin Murphy, the former CEO of the Times Mirror Corporation; William Randolph Hearst, Jr.; Jack Howard and Charles Scripps of the Scripps-Howard newspaper chain; Tom Johnson, president of CNN and former publisher of the Los Angeles Times… Walter Cronkite, now on the CBS board, hangs out at the same lodge at Bohemian Grove as George Bush and the former chairs of Procter & Gamble and Bank of America."

As with the Bilderbergers, the media members agree not to report what happens inside.

So much for the credibility of the fourth estate.

Victim for the Owl God

Whatever one makes of the elaborate occult ritual described above - regardless of whether it is viewed as just the juvenile behaviour of men frozen in adolescence or whether most of the Bohemian Club members and guests are merely onlookers - the fact that it holds pride of place among such an elite group is shocking beyond words. "This is not a resort devoted to, for example, tennis or swimming," wrote one critic. "It is apparently devoted to blood sacrifice."

The question is: why would any modern resort or private men's club so elaborately promote the owl-god Moloch? A cult steeped in the adoration of destruction, blood, barbarity and sacrifice of children, as famously evoked by John Milton in Paradise Lost: "First Moloch, horrid king besmeared with blood/Of human sacrifice, and parents' tears,/Though, for the noise of drums and timbrels loud,/Their children's cries unheard, that passed through fire/To his grim idol."

It is almost as if each year at Bohemian Grove, Satan draws to himself all his followers and useful idiots in the public square who together promote or sustain his bloody work of child sacrifice, so that they might give thanks to him before the owl-god Moloch, and cement their overt or tacit complicity in the ongoing abortion holocaust.

Given the occult underpinnings, it is hardly surprising that not only claims of unbounded drunkenness and drug use but apparently credible accusations of depraved and criminal activity have been levelled at Bohemian Grove, including: kidnapping, rape, paedophilia, sodomy and ritual murder. While investigations are said to have been blocked under the 1947 National Security Act, it is little known or commented upon that a courageous lawyer, former state Senator and decorated war hero, John DeCamp, has already tied Bohemian Grove to the most horrific abuse and child murder.

DeCamp would know. His government-initiated investigation into Omaha's 1988 Franklin Credit Union scandal became an expose of criminality and perversion on a global scale. Much to the fury of the powers who hired him to whitewash an investigation into missing funds totalling $40 million, DeCamp revealed instead how children from Omaha and its surroundings had been flown from city to city, to be abused at parties held by Franklin's officers and well-known Nebraskans: including nationally prominent Republican Party activists, the Chief of Police, the local head of the FBI, the publisher of a monopolistic Omaha newspaper, a columnist for the newspaper, and elite businessmen.

In The Franklin Cover-up: Child Abuse, Satanism and Murder in Nebraska, DeCamp put his life on the line by publishing the evidence gained during his investigations (he counts "15 to 30 strange deaths linked to this case" - such as witnesses killed the day before testifying). He lists dates, places and powerful names involved in drug-running, child prostitution, child pornography and the most horrifying ritual satanic abuse and murder.

Paul Bonacci, one of the children DeCamp represented successfully in court, documented in his diary that in 1984 he had been flown to Sacramento and taken to Bohemian Grove, at a different time to the annual gathering recounted above. (He described the place in detail including the giant carved owl, though of course didn't know it was called Bohemian Grove.) There, he was filmed both being brutally abused himself and while being made to abuse two other boys, one of whom had his head blown off right next to him. The corpse, Bonacci alleged, was later discarded from a plane, like garbage, as the perpetrators flew him and the other boy to the next 'assignment' to be passed around among wealthy predators like toys.

Satan's Fingerprints

This puts the Grove, and indeed all the power elite secret societies and secret gatherings that dabble or are steeped in the occult, in frightening perspective. "Omaha, Nebraska," DeCamp stated in a radio interview, "was merely the staging and organising ground for the activity most of which went on in places like Washington D.C. and elsewhere… Central to all of this was the use of children as drug mules and for sexually compromising politicians and other prominent and powerful people around the country. … [T]here were a massive number of youngsters involved."

Asked by the interviewer about the photographs and other evidence he had been privy to as attorney representing some of the victims in the case, the "prominent faces in these photographs" and whether "it is fair to say that there is a sexual blackmail gridlock in Washington today?" Decamp replied: "It's gridlock by sexual blackmail. That's what's going on between the Republicans and the Democrats right now. It's absolutely tragic… In my book, I describe how I was at the Republican National Convention in Dallas and a lot of these young people, who were victims, were there at the same time. I didn't have any idea what was going on back then."

To read The Franklin Cover-up is to enter a world of unspeakable, satanic cruelty against children at the highest levels of public life. It is gruelling and scarcely believable. Indeed, many don't believe the descriptions of the violations described in such cases. As DeCamp told the radio interviewer: "… the problem is that gap between something outrageous and what the average human being is capable of believing based on their own human experiences."

This understandable mental block may well explain the dismissal of claims of systemic satanic ritual abuse in Britain, mentioned in Part I. Yet it in our Sodom and Gomorrah world it should not surprise anyone who is keeping abreast of developments. If obscenely wealthy professional sportsman around the globe find themselves turning to criminal sexual antics for recreation, as routinely paraded in the news headlines, how much greater is the temptation in such a dissolute age for bored men with unlimited money and power to turn to homosexuality, paedophilia, beastiality, kiddie porn and even satanism, satanic ritual abuse and murder for their kicks?

Those familiar with the gargantuan problem of human trafficking, the worldwide trade in sex-slaves and the stupendous number of children who go missing each and every year will find this all perfectly comprehensible. Less intelligible, however, is the fact that the FBI, who have accurate figures on everything from robberies to rapes and murders, do not collect any statistics at all on the tens of thousands of children believed to disappear in America every year! One has to ask why? Especially since human trafficking over the last 15 years has turned into an organised criminal enterprise corrupting entire countries. According to the Philadelphia Trumpet [July 2002], Interpol puts the profit from the slave trade at over $19 billion per annum. Anti-slavery lobbies claim that 27 million are currently in the grip of the slave trade. And in this arena, human life has never been cheaper. The Trumpet reported that slaves of yore were worth around $50,000 in today's money. Nowadays, they are sold, re-sold and discarded for as little as $15.

In the early 1990s, as one of the many (ongoing) spin-offs from his Franklin investigations revealing the conspiracy by police, the FBI, Congress and the press to conceal the evidence, John DeCamp also documented the fact that Toronto, Ontario, is an auction centre where kidnapped children are sold to an international network of powerful paedophiles and homosexuals. According to one group who spoke with DeCamp in 1997, "he also expressed serious concerns that the north coast of British Columbia was of significant interest to the child slave industry. At that time his information strongly indicated that this area was being used to smuggle kidnapped children out of North America. Almost 5 years after Mr. DeCamp discussed his information and concerns with us, the north coast of British Columbia has been publicly identified independently as being the most significant human trafficking area in North America."

One might add to this deeply disturbing picture, which has Satan's fingerprints all over it, the growing trend towards government Child Protective Services bureaucrats in the US and elsewhere, unlawfully forcing their way into homes and removing children from parents through raw power. Numerous cases involving the most heinous abuse of constitutional rights in this regard are well documented. Homeschoolers in California have been a recent target of intimidation.

Faced with all this, should we be surprised that the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child [1989] seeks to undermine and destroy all legitimate rights children have to the protection of parents and adults? According to critics, the diabolical wording of Article 34 alone, contrary to all appearances, is an open invitation to legitimisation and encouragement of child pornography, child prostitution, and incest. More a secular humanist manifesto than a Convention on the rights of children, this insidious document, now ratified by every nation except the US and Somalia, is potentially so ruinous that its threat to children, parental authority and the Christian family cannot be overstated.

"World Rulers of this Present Darkness"

At this point, let us pause to set all the above in a universal Catholic perspective; to recall this salvific fact as restated by Father Gabriel Amorth:

"The truth of salvation is this: Jesus came 'to destroy the works of the devil' (1 Jn 3:8), to free man from Satan's slavery, and to establish the kingdom of God after destroying the reign of Satan. However, between the first coming of Christ and the Parousia (the second, triumphal coming of Christ as judge), the devil tries to entice as many people as possible to his side. It is a battle he wages with the desperation of one who knows he is already defeated, knowing 'that his time is short' [Rev. 12:12]. Therefore, Paul tells us in all honesty that 'we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places'." [Eph. 6:12].

Thus, while we contend primarily against preternatural spirits, we may be sure that Satan also employs the true believers of his own hierarchical counter-church "to entice as many people as possible to his side." We will never know the precise numbers of these perfidious mortal agents at the switching points of international agencies, national parliaments and government bureaucracies. Yet, as we have seen, their global leaders have made no secret of their agenda. Some figures, in particular, stand out as key players in Satan's increasingly desperate game-plan. The following brief snapshot, gleaned from the documentation of an anonymous author, is representative of these mystery men who emerge from nowhere and seem to be fast-tracked to a rung just below the very apex of power.

Maurice Strong

Until recently, Maurice Strong was listed as a member of the Club of Rome [see "The Club of Rome: And Some of its Friends", Michael McBarnet, CO, April 2000]. An article about him in the New Yorker magazine noted that: "The survival of civilization in something like its present form might depend significantly on the efforts of a single man." While National Review magazine stated in September 1997: "A small cadre of obscure international bureaucrats are hard at work devising a system of "global governance" that is slowly gaining control over ordinary Americans' lives. Maurice Strong, a 68-year-old Canadian, is the 'indispensable many' at the centre of this creeping UN power grab."

It was Maurice Strong together with Stephen Rockefeller and Mikhail Gorbachev (again, that mix of capitalists and communists) who wrote the Earth Charter, which calls for a world government and a new spirituality. Gorbachev's State of the World Forum meetings always have an underlying theme of occultism.

So who is Maurice Strong?

Although he never graduated from high school, by the time he was twenty-one, he held an important position in international finance, and by the time he was thirty-one, he was the chairman of one of the largest financial advisory companies in the world. Currently he is a senior advisor to both Kofi Annan, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, and James Wolfensohn, president of the World Bank. It is not figurehead Kofi Annan but Maurice Strong who appears to actually run the UN. He has recently reorganized its administrative structure.

Strong has been the chairman of both the Earth Council and the World Resources Institute, a co-chairman of the Council of the World Economic forum, and a member of Toyota's International Advisory Board. He has served as president of the World Federation of the United Nations Association, as a trustee of the Aspen Institute, as director of the World Future Society, and as a director of finance of the Lindisfarne Association. He was a founding endorser of Planetary Citizens, convened the Fourth World Wilderness Congress, and served as a trustee of the Rockefeller Foundation from 1971 to 1978. He was the Secretary-General of the First Earth Summit in 1972, of the Second Earth Summit in 1992, and of the Earth Summit Plus five in 1997. The Global Biodiversity Assessment Report represents concepts developed at the Second Earth Summit. It calls for the deconstruction of Western civilization and Maurice Strong has been quoted as saying: "Frankly, we may get to the point where the only way of saving the world will be for industrial civilization to collapse."

Writers Larry Abraham and Franklin Sanders state that "Strong owns a large tract of land in Colorado [200,000 acres], which they call 'The Baca.' There, Strong and his wife are establishing an international community of spiritualists, complete with monasteries, devotees of the Vedic mother goddess, amulet-carrying Native American shamans, Zen Buddhists, and even Shirley MacLaine. They are not only promoting a one-world government, they are also supporting a one-world religion to substitute for Christianity."

According to an article in West magazine, well-known people like Henry Kissinger and Robert McNamara have been guests at 'The Baca.' Robert McNamara was Secretary of Defence during both the Kennedy and Johnson administrations.

Immersed in occultism and busily directing world affairs, Maurice Strong presents as one of those "celebrities and consultants," who, as C. Wright Mills explained earlier:

are not at the head of any dominating hierarchy, [but] do often have the power to distract the attention of the public or afford sensations to the masses, or, more directly, to gain the ear of those who do occupy positions of direct power. More or less unattached, as critics of morality and technicians of power, as spokesmen of God and creators of mass sensibility, such celebrities and consultants are part of the immediate scene in which the drama of the elite is enacted. But that drama itself is centred in the command posts of the major institutional hierarchies....

Not quite. That "drama" is surely centred in an even more elite "command post" beyond mere institutions. Which brings us to our final consideration: to that prime suspect responsible for overseeing "Satan's pervasive and dark action" in the world, as flagged by the Holy Father at the very outset of this study.

Masonic Apex

Unlike Maurice Strong, the principal lieutenants at the apex of Satan's mortal hierarchy will remain in the background until the Anti-Christ appears following the great apostasy [2 Thess. 3:4]. But the available evidence suggests that they operate out of sight through the highest degrees of Freemasonry, the avowed enemy of Catholicism.

Decried by Clement XII for its "wickedness and perversion," labelled by Pius IX as "The Synagogue of Satan" and referred to by Leo XIII as "this foul plague [with] a fraudulent external appearance," to recall just a few papal epithets in over a dozen papal encyclicals, letters and canonical proscriptions since 1738, Masonry is the common thread running through the various secretive, elite, transnational cabals.

As is clear from much of the information presented herein, one finds among the most influential of the kingmakers who comprise these groups, directing world affairs and working ever more openly towards global governance and a one world religion, as also in closely aligned anti-Christian movements like Communism, Socialism, Secular Humanism and Zionism, the converging common denominators of the occult and the organised naturalism of the Lodge with its rejection of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

There lies the root cause of the organised socio-moral and spiritual anarchy we face – the total rebellion against the Triune God – which has boldly established Satan in the public square and poisoned every facet of modern life.

Though usually clandestine, one sees this Masonic connection flaunted more arrogantly at times, as in the display advertisement placed by "The Grand Lodge of the State of Israel" in The Jerusalem Post of November 1994. It was addressed in large bold type "To the Masons of Peace," and listed: "The Honorable Yitzak Rabin, Prime Minister of Israel," "His Majesty, King Hussein of Jordan," and "The Honorable Bill Clinton, President of the United States." Underneath ran the telling message: "With warm fraternal congratulations on the signing of the peace agreement between Israel and Jordan." It was signed – "Ephraim Fuchs, President of the Israel Order of Masons." (In his graveside remarks at the funeral service in Israel for the assassinated Yitzak Rabin the following year, President Clinton referred to Rabin as "Our elder brother." He was, of course, referring to the Brotherhood of the Lodge.)

It would take several volumes to thoroughly expound and analyse the history, rationale and subversive activities of Freemasonry. And, certainly for Christian Order subscribers, it is hardly necessary. In the limited space available let us simply delineate between the two components of Masonry and cut straight to the Malignity empowering its inner sanctum.

The most distinguished Masonic philosopher of modern times, Manly P. Hall, explains in his book Lectures on Ancient Philosophy:

Freemasonry is a fraternity within a fraternity – an outer organization concealing an inner brotherhood of the elect. It is necessary to establish the existence of these two separate yet interdependent orders, the one visible and the other invisible. The visible society is a splendid camaraderie of "free and accepted" men enjoined to devote themselves to ethical, educational, fraternal, patriotic and humanitarian concerns. The invisible society is a secret and most august fraternity whose members are dedicated to the service of a mysterious arcanum arcanorum (a secret or mystery). In each generation, only a few are accepted into the inner sanctuary of the work….Most Masons don't understand the purpose of the Craft. Only those who are selected to join the invisible fraternity are permitted to learn the "secret or mystery."

So the majority of Masons, those in the "visible society," have no understanding of the mysterious arcanum arcanorum, but they are used by those who do. What, then, is the "secret or mystery" handed down through the ages within the august "invisible society"?

It can be found in the teachings of Zoroaster. His followers believe there are two gods: a good god and an evil god; a God of Light and a God of Darkness. The evil god is also known as "the Demon." They believe the two forces are in constant conflict. According to Albert Pike, the most revered Mason of all time whose book Morals and Dogma is the Masonic bible, the battle began in the Garden of Eden:

The Prince of Darkness made Adam, whose soul was of the Divine Light, contributed by the Eons, and his body of matter, so that he belonged to both Empires, that of Light and that of Darkness. To prevent the light from escaping at once, the Demons forbade Adam to eat the fruit of "knowledge of good and evil," by which he would have known the Empire of Light and that of Darkness. He obeyed; an Angel of Light induced him to transgress, and gave him the means of victory; but the Demons created Eve, who seduced him…

As a student of Freemasonry notes: this is one of the most important passages you will ever encounter.

According to Pike, God was "the Prince of Darkness," and "the Demon." The Serpent of Eden, was "an Angel of Light." Is this madness, or something far more sinister? The answer can be found on page 321 of Morals and Dogma, where one discovers the source of "the Light" that Masons seek. Pike wrote:

…Lucifer, the Light-bearer! Strange and mysterious name to give to the Spirit of Darkness! Lucifer, the Son of the Morning! Is it he who bears the Light, and with its splendours intolerable blinds feeble, sensual, or selfish Souls? Doubt it not! For traditions are full of Divine Revelations and Inspirations…

In case there is any doubt what it all means, Manly P. Hall clarified this statement:

When the Mason learns that the key to the warrior on the block is the proper application of the dynamo of living power, he has learned the mystery of his Craft. The seething energies of Lucifer are in his hands…

So there it is: the secret passed down through the "invisible society" of esoteric adepts at the very apex of Freemasonry. From the followers of the Ancient Mystery Religions to Zoroaster, the Templars, the Rosicrucians, the Illuminati and the rest – the elect Freemasons have all worshipped Lucifer. In return, he has given them wealth and power.

Social Cataclysm and Annihilation

This is the pure evil of which the Popes have warned from the very beginning of modern Freemasonry. This is the wellspring of Masonic wickedness which so-called social Masons conspire, however ignorantly, to sustain. This is the malign enemy commanding the principalities and powers: "the world rulers of this present darkness" with whom the Church is locked in combat.

We have been ceding ground in that battle for a long time. The Masons have built a wall between things secular and things religious in an effort to destroy the Christian heritage of nations everywhere and substitute their own religion. In the U.S., where Masonry is part of the social fabric, one Masonic president after another has overseen the removal of God, prayer and the Bible from schools by stacking the Supreme Court with Masons (most notably in the years between 1941 and 1971). "Six of our last nine presidents have been members of the Council on Foreign Relations," observes one commentator, "and at least five of our last eleven presidents have been Masons. Another president, William Jefferson Clinton, was a senior member of the de Molay boys' club for Masons, which explains why the Republican senators who are Masons opposed his impeachment."

More than a whiff of sulphurous Masonic influence also hangs over the judicial-homosexual alliance currently leading the frontal attack on Christian marriage, as in Vermont and Massachusetts where a handful of black robed "justices" have approved gay marriage in contravention of hundreds of years of common law and constitutional law.

But perhaps the worst is yet to come. Albert Pike, who had been recruited into the Illuminati by Italian revolutionary leader Guiseppe Mazzini and who (wouldn't you know!) was fascinated by the idea of a one-world government, spelt out with fierce precision just what the luciferian wealth and power confided to the elite Masons was all about. Between 1859 and 1871, Pike had worked out a military blueprint for three world wars and various revolutions throughout the world which he considered would forward the conspiracy to its final stage in the 20th century. In a letter to Mazzini of 15 August 1871, now catalogued in the British Museum, he stated that after World War III is ended; those who will aspire to undisputed world domination will provoke the greatest social cataclysm the world has ever known:

"We shall unleash the nihilists and the atheists and we shall provoke a great social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to all nations the effect of absolute atheism; the origins of savagery and of most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the people will be forced to defend themselves against the world minority of the world revolutionaries and will exterminate those destroyers of civilization and the multitudes disillusioned with Christianity whose spirits will be from that moment without direction and leadership and anxious for an ideal, but without knowledge where to send its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer brought finally out into public view. A manifestation which will result from a general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and Atheism; both conquered and exterminated at the same time."

From the ashes of this annihilation, the Masonic elite doubtless look to construct a non-sectarian religion, uniting the world under their control through an umbrella agency like the UN, duly conditioned and organised by lower luminaries like Maurice Strong. Their aim was again laid out in the New Age magazine in 1950:

God's plan is dedicated to the unification of all races, religions and creeds. This plan, dedicated to the new order of things, is to make all things new—a new nation, a new race, a new civilization and a new religion, a non-sectarian religion that has already been recognized and called the religion of "The Great Light."

The War is Now!

The one true God of the Christian battalions, of course, may have other ideas. But His response will depend on the purity of our faith and how determinedly we struggle for Him against evil powers seen and unseen.

The combat is relentless and the odds overwhelming. Moreover, the Lodge is always diverting attention away from its influence, often playing the Semitic card to conceal its agenda. Both the infamous American Civil Liberties Union [ACLU] and Anti-Defamation League [ADL] have strong ties to Masonry through the Jewish Bnai B'rith Lodge and Israel's Masonic Lodges - of which there are reportedly 76, catering for around 4,000 Israeli Freemasons who have counted every Israeli Prime Minister since 1948, including Golda Meier, among their ranks. (Well known rabbi Isaac Wise has concluded emphatically that "Freemasonry is a Jewish establishment, whose history, grades, official appointments, passwords, and explanations are Jewish from beginning to end"). This perhaps explains the rabidly anti-Christian agenda of the ACLU and ADL and why, apart from allied motives of scare-mongering and fundraising, they have led the vicious attack against Mel Gibson's epic movie, The Passion of the Christ, on the baseless charge of "anti-Semitism."

Mel has manfully confronted this calumny and many others in a veritable microcosm of the cosmic struggle treated in this article. The warfare, he rudely discovered, is not just eternal - the war is now!

In an interview with the pugnacious Aussie star, journalist Peter J. Boyer found that "Gibson has a combative view of the world, in which all human history is the product of warring realms, the powers of good and evil. He believes in the Devil as fully as he believes in God; that is why his career has evolved to The Passion, and it is how he accounts for the opposition the film has aroused." Commenting on the tidal wave of antagonism his project has excited, Gibson told Boyer how the immediacy of the battle took him by surprise:

I didn't realise it would be so vicious.

The acts against this film started early. As soon as I announced I was doing it, it was 'This is a dangerous thing.' There is vehement anti-Christian sentiment out there, and they don't want it.

It's vicious. I mean, I think we're just a little part of it, we're just the meat in the sandwich here. There's huge things out there and they're belting it out. We don't see this stuff.

Imagine: There's a huge war raging, and it's over us! This is the weird thing. For some reason, we're important in this thing. I don't understand it. We're idiots and failures and creeps. But we're called to the divine, we're called to be better than our nature would have us be.

And those big realms that are warring and battling are going to manifest themselves very clearly, seemingly without reason, here, a realm that we can see. And you stick your head up and you get knocked.

There could be no better positive and uplifting note on which to conclude. Because although "knocked" from pillar to post and against all the odds, Mel Gibson vanquished his seemingly omnipotent anti-Christian foes in the media-entertainment industry, the Zionist lobby, academia and within the Church itself. Armed with Catholic truth, fortified by prayer and daily reception of the sacraments and entrusting his project to the protection of Our Lady through the Rosary, he stuck his head above the parapet and with faith, hope and charity faced down the enemy and emerged triumphant!

Which only goes to prove that if the struggle is enduring, so is the blueprint for success. It was laid out by St. Paul in his famous call to arms [Eph. 6: 11-17]:

"Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil.
… Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of justice,
And your feet shod with preparation of the gospel of peace:
In all things taking the shield of faith, wherewith you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one.
And take unto you the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (which is the word of God).

To emulate Mel's triumph in our own personal and corporate battles with Satan, his demonic minions and mortal agents, we must follow his militant lead in living out those abiding requisites for victory.

Let us pray always for this grace through the infinite merits of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Who came "to destroy the works of the devil," Who lives and reigns, with God the Father, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. Amen.

(1) There are perfectly credible claims, supported by three leading doctors who examined the autopsy results, that microbiologist Dr David Kelly, a world expert in weapons of mass destruction and a potentially lethal threat to Blair's credibility over the Iraq war, was murdered, probably by lethal injection poorly disguised as suicide. The ensuing Hutton Inquiry into the Kelly affair, which didn't challenge Dr. Kelly's alleged suicide and let the government off the hook, was a whitewash. A recently retired, very senior British Intelligence officer, Lieutenant Colonel Crispin Black, described the Inquiry report as a "laughing stock."
